About NBC National Business Communications is a business telecoms provider and utilities broker. Their services include and are not limited to Fixed line telecoms, Hosted & SIP systems, Broadband, Fibre, PDQ and Merchant services. Through partnerships with over fifty suppliers, they also directly source Gas & Energy, Water management and waste solutions, billing and supply services. NBC is on the lookout for sales superstars to add strength to their fantastic team. The business is producing exciting figures that allows them to increase their numbers in the sales department as well as the wider business. The Candidate The ideal candidate is well spoken, very well presented, articulate and able to direct conversation about products and prices without hesitation. They are driven by earning money for themselves, and for those around them, understands team ethics yet possesses the ability to work without the need for micro management. They work tirelessly to achieve their targets, a genuine self-starter and motivated by both uncapped financial and career growth and rewards. Ideally, experience within sales is preferable, however, due to robust and defining training, applicants that have the confidence and will to succeed are welcomed. This office-based sales role is responsible for forging successful relationships with small to medium businesses across the UK. You will be responsible for acquiring fixed line and associated telecoms products for billing, offering upgrades and managing accounts leading to progressive future/repeat business. You will manage the sales pipeline from initial contact through to close, taking complete ownership of the sales cycle. Key Responsibilities (not limited to): To achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales targets To achieve the target conversion rates set To accurately complete all customer details & sales information to the required standard To adhere to the sales compliance rules - all sales are generated in line with industry regulator and internal business quality standards Ability to forge and build relationships quickly and effectively Key competencies: A proven track record in sales and working towards targets Knowledge of the telecoms sector is preferred, however not essential The ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all customers and stakeholders. The ability to work as part of a team supporting colleagues where necessary The ability to be self-motivated and focused on continually achieving and exceeding targets The ability to think on your feet and manage your time efficiently. You will need a proactive approach, be confident, driven by new business sales and enjoy picking up the phone to create opportunities.
