Are you a dynamic, experienced and skilled technology and data expert?

We're on the hunt for a Chief Information Officer who can lead and develop our Technology, Business Systems and Business Information services.

As our Group grows, our need for the strategic development of our Technology and Business Systems operations has also grown, and were now looking for a technically skilled leader to develop these areas.

You'll need to be highly knowledgeable, with a demonstrable track record of enhancing services and building customer satisfaction. You'll take executive responsibility for our Technology, Business Information and Business Services, so will need to feel at ease with large datasets, technical reporting and a wide variety of systems. You'll also need an intimate knowledge of the processes and data requirements within a further education setting. The areas you will lead are core to EKC Groups growth ambitions, so your role will be a key part of achieving our Strategic Plan.

What you will be doing

Within this role you will need experience of working at a senior level and collaborating across multiple areas, while devising strategy, and using expert knowledge and skills to set direction. You will need a proven track record of project and programme delivery in an IT setting where benefits were realised successfully.

This role will transform the business by driving the adoption of new digital capabilities, ensuring that our investment in technology is effectively leveraged to meet current and future business needs and objectives.

Skills & Experience

You will be a highly effective and broadly knowledgeable information technology leader with demonstrable strengths in applications, infrastructure, service management, project management, and processes.

You will have experience of working at a strategic level in a CIO role or as part of a senior management team implementing significant change and service improvement.

You will have the creativity and vision to inspire and lead change together with the focus to ensure successful outcomes are reached. Importantly, you must be committed to the educational vision and values of EKC Group.

If you are an ambitious leader with the ability to plan strategically and translate that into effective operational practice, then this is an outstanding opportunity to challenge yourself in a new setting. Previous experience in education is not essential.
