Minute Secretary - Secretary to the Main Board
The KM Charity Team and Inspire Schools require a Minute Secretary to support the working of the Main Board of Trustees and its sub-committees. This Kent charity works in partnership with the KM Group and a number of major stakeholders including Kent County Council and Medway Council to help make our County a better place to live and work.
The Minute Secretary is a voluntary position that pays a small Honorarium of £250 per quarter for documenting one or two Trustee meetings per month. A mileage allowance of 45p is also payable when attending meetings of the Main Board or Committees.
The post holder will need to have a PC at home with internet access. They will need to attend each meeting, which normally take place on Wednesday afternoons, from which they will draft Minutes. The completed Minutes should be emailed back to the Senior Administrator for sharing with the Chief Executive, Chairman and Committee Chairman for approval.
