Marketing Partnerships Officer

Are you looking for something new and exciting? We’ve got a brand new role for someone with tonnes of energy and a passion for relationship building to come and join our marketing team as a part time 'Marketing Partnerships Officer'. The Marketing Partnerships Officer will amplify our existing marketing activity by strengthening our partnerships and representing our brand in the local community. The role will be predominately ‘out and about’ around Kent and East Sussex but will have a base at our head office in Canterbury, so it is paramount that the successful candidate is confident, independent and willing to work alone as well as part of a team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Seeking joint marketing opportunities, such as competitions, joint PR exercises, etc.
  • Manage and exploit the day to day relationships with our sponsorship partners'.
  • Organising, facilitating and attending meetings with tourism partners, marketing agencies and any other marketing suppliers as appropriate.
  • Maintaining and maximising existing relationships with local tourism boards, marketing agencies and other suppliers.
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing Campaigns Officer to ensure a joined up approach and realise synergies.
  • Build, maintain and be responsible for the relationships (attending face to face meetings where necessary) with partners and suppliers.
  • Involvement in central marketing campaigns as instructed by Head of Commercial.
  • Manage the payment of marketing spend by raising purchase orders.
  • Schedule marketing and promotional Tweets using the Hootsuite social media management system.
  • Any other activity as reasonably requested by the Managing Director/Southeast Executive.

  • A background or qualification in marketing.

 

Desirable attributes

Experience in creating and editing videos for use on social media.
Photography experience.
