Compliance Officer &163;32,000 PA Canterbury, Kent KESS Insurance Recruitment are working alongside a large Insurance Organisation that is currently "bucking the trend" and continuing to increase in size. As such they are now looking to formalise their compliance function into one area and remove these duties from operational management and staff. The objective of this role is to provide compliance, risk advice and guidance to the company directors and staff, ensuring risks and issues across the business are identified and rectified. Ensure FOS and customer complaints are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner. Duties of the role are to include: To set up, monitor and maintain adequate and appropriate systems and controls to ensure that the company meets its regulatory requirements. To manage the regulatory requirements stemming from the FCA regulations. To produce the compliance plan for the company to ensure it is managed in accordance with the company objectives. To provide advice and guidance as necessary on any parts of the FCA compliance plan and to report progress to the Directors of the company on a regular basis. Enhance and maintain a compliance culture. Represent compliance at relevant meetings and committees both internally and externally. Adhere to FCA principles and act as a role model for the company. Action FOS/Customer complaints. Oversee, evolve, and manage the company audit process. Assist and advise on bonus, reward and deduction system from a compliance and procedural perspective.
