The Estates Bursar will be a senior member of the Support Staff team, and line manager for the Estates Department which comprises 24 skilled staff. His/her responsibilities will cover the management of major building projects, maintenance, capital works, building services, fire regulations and all associated work including Health & Safety and CDM requirements.
The successful applicant will have demonstrable management expertise at a senior level as well as proven leadership, interpersonal and organisational skills together with the ability to inspire confidence amongst his/her team. Financial awareness and strong operational management, with the ability to think strategically, build effective working relationships and provide clear direction to others, are essential qualities.
Professional member of CIOB, CIBSE, RICS, RIBA or BIFM, ICWCI with the appropriate qualifications, would be a significant advantage.
Salary dependent on experience and qualifications
