UK Distribution Sales Manager / Key Account Manager required for global environment improvement product company. Candidates must be driven, enthusiastic individuals, who want to work in a continuous improvement environment, with proven experience of selling into large garden and DIY wholesale / distributor customers such as Decco, Stax, Home Hardware, Tony Mitchell etc. Home based with UK travel. You will ensure the existing UK key accounts are managed and serviced to the highest standards in order to maximise all opportunities to achieve sustainable business growth. Responsible for the acquisition of new UK retail key accounts identified from the UK retail key account prospect list. Managing through the whole initial sales process from first contact through to gaining listings and having products in store/online. Account Management The Key Account Manager will be responsible for the accounts at the highest level and the main duties of the role include: Build and hold strong relationships with all the key people within the accounts Introduce, promote and sell as much of the product range as possible Working with our internal teams to ensure customer service levels are achieved in line with expectations Provide forecasts on product purchases as timely and efficiently as possible to the purchasing team to aid stock availability Update a Key Account Plan for all identified accounts on a monthly basis to chart progress on open opportunities to drive further growth New Business Development Sales Winning new UK retail key accounts is a key element to this role. Responsibilities include: Use of the UK retail key account prospect list with the objective of turning prospects into new key accounts Responsible for the pro-active development of all prospects on the list and the reporting on progress on a monthly basis Development of a key account prospect win process. Using previous experience to document tactics and initiatives to use in order to win new key accounts Lead and coordinate all new account set up meetings to ensure all internal departments are aware of the new customer and what is required to provide excellent customer service This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving global pest control product company, with excellent prospects, great salary, on target earnings, car, laptop, phone and good benefits
