Head of IT. Based just outside Dartford, I have a brand new requirement for an experienced Head of IT with the emphasis on: IT Strategy IT Delivery Change Management Software Development/IT infrastructure. 10 Years Experience in an Head of IT or Senior IT Management, leading an team. As a key member of the senior management team, you will lead the development of the IT strategy, service portfolio, operating model, delivering transformational change, further modernise & invest in IT. You must have: The ability & vision to write a technology strategy and implement it. Proven experience of delivery of successful IT systems development/technology projects. 10 years of IT Management experience, leading an IT team. A proven track record in leadership of an IT function. Experience of having contracted for Software development/IT infrastructure & know the potential pitfalls. Experience of change management, proven experience of developing, gaining support organisation wide for & implementing robust systems and solutions. Technical skills sufficient to be able to understand the broad technical landscape of both corporate IT HW & SW. Knowledge of Information Security & GDPR/ICO. Background in managing technical & business development teams. Prince/Project Management qualification/experience. Sufficient gravitas & experience to present to the Board/Exco. Budget management including development of business cases. Experience of working in a complex organisation & stakeholder management skills. Experience of managing 3rd party supplier relationships.
