Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our Engineering Team based at our offices on the Questor Estate, Dartford, Kent. You will be working in a small Quality Team and the position holder will support the Brigade’s positive approach to managing and enhancing Brigade products, services, and processes. You will be applying automotive quality tools, processes, and working practices to ensure Brigade and its diverse customers’ product quality expectations are satisfied and continually improved Key Responsibilities: Management of inspection activities at goods inwards on-site, supporting activities globally as required. Implementation and continual support for conformance to industry standards, best practices, and business management systems. Communication of internal and external metrics to ensure that business processes, supplier performance, and customer requirements are within operational parameters. Timely closure of and reduction in issues through prioritisation and completion of reactive non-conformance reports and pro-active continuous improvement activities. Timely completion of inspection activities, management reporting of, follow up and robust closure of identified non-conformities, observations, and opportunities for improvement. Education, Experience, Skills, and Qualifications: HNC/HND in Engineering discipline or similar Three years’ relevant industry experience within an industry-aligned/allied with the automotive industry or a disciplined industry (such as aerospace, defense, medical, optical, etc High level of numeracy and literacy Above average computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint) Demonstrable practical experience within a Quality Engineering and or Manufacturing positon Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Can demonstrate taking ownership and responsibility of high profile and complex situations.
