Mental Health Specialist Housing Support Worker - Youth
Our client is seeking a Specialist Support / Housing Worker to join their team immediately on a temporary contract for what will likely last 3 - 6 months. Working solely supporting one individual, hours of work can be flexible across Monday - Sunday and total hours worked each week will likely be between 15 - 21 hours. Hourly pay rate will be £11.79 and there may be some flexibility on this. It is paramount that the candidate has excellent knowledge and understanding of mental health and how the system works. Experience of working with socially excluded young people in a Youth offending setting would be beneficial and knowledge of supported housing. The selected candidate will provide housing related support to individuals and those that require specialist support regarding their mental health needs, to enable them to maintain their tenancies and to achieve their aspirations for independent living.
