Senior Residential Childcare Worker/Shift Leader
J&R Care Ltd are currently recruiting for the following roles to work in their Residential Children’s Home in Crowborough, East Sussex.
SENIOR RESIDENTIAL CHILDCARE WORKER/SHIFT LEADER
(salary depending on qualifications and experience)
Successful shortlisted candidates for the senior position will have at least two years experience of working in a children’s home and one year’s shift leading experience. Senior staff are also expected to be on call on a rota basis. The ideal senior candidate will be qualified to at least Diploma Level 3 Health and Social Care, Children and Young People or equivalent.
Candidates MUST have experience with working with children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and challenging behaviour.
All staff are expected to work on a rota basis which includes weekends and evenings and bank holidays, including Christmas. The vacancy is a full time position and all staff are expected to attend meetings and training sessions which means that the basic week on many occasions is 43.5 hours per week.
