We have an exciting opportunity for a new HR, Learning and Development Manager for our growing company. It is an exciting time to join our growing team and shape the development of the organisation across our 3 offices and with our employed / contracted tutors working remotely from home offices. This is a varied and multi-faceted role and would suit someone with valuable experience in HR and Learning and Development. It would also suit candidates who share our commitment to improving the lives of children, specifically those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Role Info: HR, Learning and Development Manager - Psychology Led e-learning, Assessment & Training Organisation Canterbury or Greenwich office Salary: £27,000 - £34,000 (dependent on experience & qualifications) Plus: pension, bonus, benefits & flexible working Hours: 0.8 fte or 1.0 fte (by negotiation) About us: We are a dynamic, successful and expanding company providing training courses to teachers, education professionals and psychologists. About you: You are a confident, organised individual with proven HR and Learning and Development skills and experience. You have CIPD qualifications (completed or underway) and can demonstrate a commitment to ongoing development of your own professional learning (formal and/or informal). You will have a track record of working closely with Senior Leadership to develop HR strategy and policies, as well as with management teams to ensure that HR functions are being implemented effectively. You will be able to demonstrate a track record of adherence to HR regulations and regulatory compliance. You will be a skilled communicator verbally and in writing, who is able to convey information clearly, accurately and succinctly. You will be able to actively contribute to a diverse range of HR and Learning and Development-related projects. You will be able to demonstrate a shared commitment to our values and will be committed to the importance of a positive People culture. Person specification: The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate: Membership of CIPD (with qualifications completed or underway). A commitment to our values of inclusivity, integrity, positivity, curiosity, growth and sustainability Mature and confident communication skills, the ability to build effective relationships, motivate staff and demonstrate a passion for high-quality customer service. Self-motivation to achieve goals using your initiative, responsibility and attention to detail being able to keep within plans and budgets. An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy is crucial. Ability to work with Directors and the Management team to develop long term HR & development policies which encourage and support creative and analytical thinking to achieve commercial results. Excellent organisation, prioritisation and administrative skills. You will regularly use the company HR systems, so careful data handling skills will be important. Thorough working knowledge of UK employment legislation, and the ability to ensure full compliance with all relevant statutory requirements (including TUPE). Ability to manage staff across a distributed organisation, and develop processes for staff on a range of contracts (including TUPE) Experience of supporting managers with recruitment, performance reviews, learning and professional development of staff and providing effective, strategic HR advice to achieve commercial aims. Experience of developing a culture of Learning & Change, able to demonstrate a personal and corporate commitment to continuous learning, growth and change. Experience of leading, encouraging and supporting creative and analytical thinking in staff teams to achieve commercial results. Able to lead the HR processes to support Real Group Ltd to achieve our aim of gaining -corp status Experience of working in a generalist HR role. Interested?
