Probation Officer

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a probation officer to work in Ramsgate. The role is initially for 3 months, and candidates applying should have a current enhanced DBS dated within the last 2 years to be considered for the role. In this role, you will be covering the full remit of case management with a caseload of low to medium risk offenders. You will be expected to undertake risk assessments, breach reports and work with partnership agencies where appropriate, to reduce re-offending rates within your caseload. Candidates will also be expected to do 1 late night reporting each week. To be successful in your application you must hold a Diploma in Probation studies, or a Social work qualification. You also need previous experience of working a case management role in a probation setting.
