You will be involved in a variety of supply chain activities form product development, sourcing, cost reduction, production, purchasing and logistics, as well as the development of information systems and processes needed to coordinate these activities. Working with suppliers from the UK, Europe and the Far East, the team is responsible for optimising supply chain activities and adding value to the organisation. Client Details Our client are based in Westerham. Description The key responsibilities of the role are as follows: Analyse forecasted sales for NPI/NPD and phasing in and out of existing products Support by generating purchase orders as and when required and delivery schedule adherence Assist and support the supply chain team to analyse data to support new product introduction Help with market research and data analysis to calculate buys for the launch of new products and sourcing of those products To support the market process, ensuring products are launched on time Active participation in meetings Profile The successful candidate will: Minimum 2 years experience of working in a supply chain environment Experience of working with an ERP system and numerous other platforms for data Ability to provide reports and analyse data Experience of working in a fast paced, dynamic environment and meeting deadlines Experience and competent in advanced Excel Experience in continuous improvement activity Ability to take ownership of the task in hand Job Offer A competitive salary package and the chance of the role becoming permanent.
