Job Role: Trainee IFA Administrator/ Personal Assistant
Hours: 25 Hours per week.
Location: Maidstone Town Centre. (No parking).
Start: Immediately.
Salary: £dependent on experience.
Schemes: Will consider candidates from the DWP Kickstart Scheme (16-24 years) on Universal Credit.
We are looking for an IFA Administrator/ Personal Assistant to help with new and existing business processing. The company has been established for 24 years but now wants to expand as much as possible - COVID permitting.
Initially, you will be working alongside the Director of the firm in our office in Maidstone Town Centre. Whereby, you will be responsible for reporting and liaising with High Net Worth clients on a daily basis. A good telephone manner is essential. You need to be very self motivated and need to demonstrate that you are responsible to work alone with tasks allocated, through to completion.
Duties will include day to day administration, to include but not limited to;
- Processing new business applications,
- Chasing outstanding information,
- Client review reports., research reviews and renewals,
- Dealing with external companies.
- Data entry and record keeping.
- Providing support to the extremely busy Director/ IFA of the company.
This will be an exciting new administration role, that can be adapted and personalised to you. With a view that progression either to a Senior Administrative role or a move within the financial industry. (Ideal if you are thinking of a career in financial services and would like to see whether this industry appeals to you). For the right candidate – we could offer you progression towards Diploma status with the role transitioning to a Trainee Paraplanning/ Adviser role in the future - if you so desire it.
The ideal candidate will be currently working as an IFA / Financial Industry/ Admin Support and will be looking to progress their career into something more personal and challenging. Or possibly; due to the pandemic, you are not currently working but can demonstrate experience in this field?
Extensive knowledge of Excel, Word, Databases (inhouse) and Outlook as standard, but also someone who can demonstrate motivation, working on their own initiative, being extremely organised, reliable and professional with the right attitude is the key to this exciting opportunity.
Hours can be flexible; with initially being 9am to 2pm 5 days per week. Initially on a 6 month contract – renewed for the right person.
