We are currently working for a Major UK Residential Contractor. The group has a turnover of over £800 Million across the UK and turnover in excess of £50 Billion globally. Over the last 25 years they have built partnering relationships and have a substantial order book with a large pipeline for upcoming projects across the UK. We are working for the business unit that specialises in New Build projects and works across London and the southeast. It’s an exciting time for the business and it is also very likely that they will be delivering their own developments shortly. This business unit has a current turnover of £150 Million and they are looking to grow over the next 5 years and will have a turnover of more than £250 Million. They tend to take on projects from £2m to £40m in London and the South East. They are looking to develop a complex projects team working on projects with values in excess of £70 Million The business mainly operates as a Contractor working for Private clients, local councils and housing associations. They have built a strong top tier management team with the Divisional Director and Managing Director having strong credentials in the Construction Industry. Sectors include: Housing Development, Community regeneration schemes and Retirement Living. Senior Project Manager - £65,000 - £85,000 Competitive Package – Kent Type of Contract: Design & Build Method of construction: traditional, timber frame, RC frame, modular, etc. Types of individuals that they are looking for: They are looking for an Established Project Managers or Senior Project Managers with a strong record. This is well balanced team consisting of mature and capable individuals that are looking for people that want to take ownership and responsibility for their work. Duties/responsibilities include but aren’t limited to: Overseeing the entirety of the project from outset through to completion whilst reporting directly to the Operations Manager. Management of a site team consisting of managers including trainees and develop the management plan outlining responsibilities of each team member. Manage and ensure all H&S regulations, legislation, company procedures, quality standards/procedures and statutory requirements are met across each scheme. Continually monitor and control the project budget, prelims and produce monthly reports for the director’s board together with attending monthly director/contract meetings. Produce, implement and monitor contract, target and short-term programmes together with reporting progress and critical items to ensure the delivery of the project is on time and on budget. Produce the monthly client progress reports for chairing monthly progress meetings and presenting to external funders. Working closely with the client with maintaining a good relationship as well as holding external funder site meetings together with visits/tours. Working with the commercial team to secure and manage all the required subcontractors and resources to deliver each scheme including planning, resourcing, allocating and scheduling of all materials for the scheme. Working with and manage the design team ensuring the design adheres to all regulatory/statutory standards and enable the design to be produced on site. Managing and maintaining the handover of each project to the client ensuring all H&S information and documentation is available, complete and presented as required to enable an easy handover
