St. Stephen’s Junior School are looking to appoint a School Cook
With the responsibility for a large junior school and nursery.
We require someone with previous experience in school catering, ideally havingachieved the Level 2/3 food safety catering certificate. You will be a highly effective manager with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and looking to achieve and enhance the high quality catering provision already enjoyed by both children and staff. Line Management duties will include 2 kitchen staff.
You may have other qualifications including COSHH, Food Hygiene and Health and Safety but these are not essential and can be obtained after starting employment.
You will however need knowledge of the nutritional requirements of children and have a proven track history of producing a high volume of meals to the exceptionally high quality that we expect.
