Charity Operations Manager
Part-time: 20 hours per week
Salary: £28,000 (pro rata)
Location: Office based (Ashford) with some flexibility for home working
Includes Us 2 is a parent driven charity providing information and support services to disabled children and their families in the areas of Ashford, Dover and Shepway.
We are looking to recruit a dynamic and highly motivated manager who has the skills and expertise to ensure the future sustainability and growth of the organisation whilst maximising positive outcomes for children and young people with a disability or SEN and their families.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate professionalism and the necessary business skills to successfully manage the day to day operations of a small charity. You will be required to manage a small staff team and have demonstrable experience of contract and performance management, fundraising and business development and knowledge of both statutory and voluntary services, preferably within the disabled children and young people sector.
Experience of working in a multi-agency environment would be extremely beneficial, as would experience of maintaining and developing partnerships in line with the vision and ethos of the charity. Previous experience of working in the not for profit sector would be advantageous. The post will require regular travel across Ashford, Shepway & Dover and occasionally across the whole of the County. An Enhanced DBS check will be required for this post.
