Your ResponsibilitiesTo oversee and lead the maintenance function in the Erith Crushing Facility.Ensure full compliance with legislative and company safety regulations/standards and promote a safety culture across the department (reports and contractors).Collaborate with plant management and relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment to the location strategy and to ensure department meets goals for Safety and Health, Environment, Product Quality and Costs, actively participating in audits of these areas where required.Manage the maintenance engineering team (through goal setting, development and feedback) to ensure staff are adequately trained, competent and motivated to effectively deliver the maintenance plan.Develop, implement and maintain a cost effective asset management program incorporating Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Performance Excellence (PE) activities to ensure high availability and reliability of all process and infrastructure equipment.Develop/oversee planning and scheduling of maintenance activities including planned, predictive and reactive works; reporting maintenance performance in the agreed format and frequency.Pro-actively drive improvements and innovation of production processes and systems across all disciplines to develop zero failure engineering activities with the aim of reducing failures.Manage capital projects according to project management guidelines and deliver related non-technical projects and day to day activities in a cost effective and timely basis to achieve results.Ensure effective management of spare parts inventory, maintenance supplies and equipment to meet operating requirements.Management of Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).Your ProfileA recognised engineering qualification with time served electrical and mechanical knowledge or ideally degree level in field of Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Production Manufacturing, or other related field.Experience/Leadership of Reliability Centred Maintenance processes.Strong experience preferably in a food, feed or chemical production environment.Strong experience in the management or supervision of a maintenance department incorporating Safety & Health, Environmental, Quality, Production and Project management.Proficient in asset management techniquesGood knowledge of Microsoft applications & asset management softwareStrong problem solving, diagnostic and analytical skills, with a results focused approach.Strong communication skills (fluent in English) and an excellent team playerOur OfferChallenging tasks, short decision-making processes and a high level of personal responsibility in a modern work environment with flexible work time modelsRoom for innovative thinking and growth with the possibility to manage your own career path.A company culture which promotes continuous learning and diversity.Excellent career opportunities in a world leading nutrition company.
