Key Responsibilities of Manufacturing Services Manager: Responsible for managing 3rd party subcontract manufacturers in the production of high-quality safety products. Researching and sourcing new subcontract manufacturers from time-to-time, as required by the business need. To lead the management of outsourced Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS), metalwork fabrication and cable assemblies from a range of suppliers both in the UK and world-wide. To develop relationships with the suppliers ensuring we have the best possible terms & conditions of supply. To manage the transfer of design and manufacturing information from the company to manufacturers. To manage internal assembly projects as required To find, assess and lead the approval of new manufacturing partners. To ensure all third-party manufacturers have signed up to relevant agreements including Manufacturing Service Agreements (MSA). Key Requirements of Manufacturing Services Manager: Minimum of 5 year's practical experience managing outsourced/contract manufacturing in electronics, preferably in the automotive industry. Experience of using ERP systems. Capable of setting and maintaining effective general office procedures. Proven ability to manage a multi-task role. Building and sustaining supplier relationships.
