We have a brand-new exciting role for Learning Designers with a passion for creating best in class e-learning content. This ambitious forward-thinking business is looking for a creative, motivated learning designer to assist in moving their off-the-shelf content to the next level. This role involves designing innovative content for courses on current topics to help this business expand their US presence. Working primarily on courses related to compliance, health and safety and business skill training collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure all content is always up to date. You will have proven top rate experience in designing, writing, creating and implementing engaging e-learning content, with excellent understanding of learning theory and methodologies. As well as having superb knowledge of assessment, evaluation and instructional design methods. Core Responsibilities Complete learning design on all assigned projects including outline and storyboarding ensuring that learning objectives are met and the content is engaging to the specified audience Writing attention capturing scripts for courses and any related videos Collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders including subject matter experts, project managers, developers and artists Ensure all work meets the vision, objectives and expectations set Maintain quality standards across all content Clarify and meet agreed learning objectives for each assigned course Required Skills and Experience A minimum of 3 years’ experience as either an instructional or learning designer ideally within an e-learning agency 5 star writing and communication skills with excellent attention to detail Effective consultation skills Ability to translate complex subject matter into easy-to-understand content A clear passion for e-learning and learning technologies continually expanding knowledge of design and development keeping up to date with new trends Commercial awareness and ability to create content within budgets Confidently lead briefing calls with the ability to influence others A real team player Ideally have a background of creating off-the-shelf content Sound like your ideal role?
