Sales & Reservation Manager

Dartford area

£25,000-£30,000 plus £5K OTE

Mon- Fri 40hrs per week

We are currently working with an established passenger transport service provider based in the Dartford area who are looking to hire an experienced Sales & Reservations Manager.


The core responsibility for the Sales & Reservation Manager is to maximize sales potential for the business.

Main Responsibilities:
*Ensure every client's expectations are exceeded by delivering exceptional customer service and advice
*Liaise with commercial, finance and operations colleagues to ensure clients expectations are met and, where possible, exceeded
*Reach sales targets and identify areas for growth within the existing client base
*Identify and reach out to new customers
*Visit and conduct meetings with existing and potential clients
*Assist with all areas of marketing, attend monthly marketing and SEO meetings, and attend occasional trade shows
*Be able to process and invoice private hire reservations
*Respond to new and existing commuter clients, arrange free trials, ticket sales and refunds.
*Support the driving team to ensure correct adherence to their ticketing-related duties.
*Attend and act on project meetings
*Assist in the management of extraordinary one-off event bookings

Candidate profile:
*Exceptional customer service skills and telephone manner
*Strong sales ability and commercial awareness to help maximise company revenue
*Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook
*Experience with CRM systems
*Meticulously self-organised
*Minimum of 5 GCSE's A-C Grades including English and Maths
*Ability to build strong professional relationships with clients to understand their requirements and enhance their experience
*Self-motivated with a keen interest in the travel and tourism sector, helping to bring added value to sales techniques.
*Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with both colleagues and clients.
*Problem solver, helping to implement changes to systems and protocols with a view to continual personal and business development.
