£35,000 - £40,000pa

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a leading and progressive housing service provider as their Service Charge Analyst.

As Service Charge Analyst you will be working as part of a project team delivering significant change implementing a new housing and finance system. You will be responsible for helping design efficient end to end business processes for service charges. You will support the team to gather complex business requirements and processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Collaborate with business owners to review existing service charge processes, identify requirements and issues, analyse and recommend process improvements and agree on solutions
- Build service charge process architecture to understand business objectives and the impact of any potential changes
- Work with business owners to understand and map existing service charge end to end business processes using analysis and modelling tools
- Create specifications that clearly identify issues with existing processes and capture requirements for improvements
- Analyse existing processes and new requirements. The document proposed new processes and discuss options with business users to agree on solutions
- Ensure all proposed solutions are based on a clear understanding of the underlying business issues and seek to deliver benefits through people and process change first
- Work closely with IT and the business to gather and document complex business requirements and processes
- Ensure test plans are robust and fit for purpose, ensure all solutions are formally tested, supporting the implementation of the solution
- Implement and monitor new processes

Candidate Profile
- Knowledge of service charges and the impact on finance or housing management processes, data and systems
- Experience of working in a team to deliver new ways of working and new systems
- Experience in project tasks; particularly identifying business process issues and designing solutions
- Experience in building good relationships with stakeholders and development partners
- Expert knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques
- Be highly organised and efficient
- Computer literate
- Strong communicator and team player
- Be within a commutable distance to the offices based in the west of Kent
