JOB OVERVIEW: Quality Systems Engineer / QMS Engineer / Administrator with QMS experience and a background in engineering / manufacturing sought by well-known manufacturing company of electro-mechanical products. Salary: C£24K-£34K negotiable plus excellent staff benefits package. Location - Westerham, Kent THE COMPANY; My client is a very established and continually growing engineering / manufacturing company. Pioneering and masters of innovation they design and manufacture electro-mechanical products to a global customer base. THE ROLE & OPPORTUNITY As a result of a focus on profitable growth my client seeks to appoint for a new position within quality systems engineering / quality assurance. My client will consider both more junior candidates with a good degree and 18 months plus commerical experience AND more experienced candidates. The salary offered will purely depend on the candidates level of experience and competency. Responsibilities of the Quality Systems Engineer / QMS Engineer / Administrator Reporting and overall ownership of the Quality Management System Daily activities at the facility include addressing issues and supporting internal processes such as engineering changes and product approvals. Work cross functionally with departmental teams to ensure visibility on quality levels, consistency of processes and metrics, and resolution of Quality issues. Engage in all aspects of company systems and documentation to ensure processes are robust and communicated adequately. Define processes for projects and draw up process documents to ensure clarity of existing and new processes. Investigation and resolution of System related quality issues within a complex technical supply chain. CANDIDATE PROFILE: You MUST be closely aligned to much of the following: Graduate / Graduate Calibre – Engineering degree desirable but not essential Minimum 18 months work experience in the Engineering/Manufacturing sector Diligent individual with passion for excellence, organisation and a strong sense of structure and ownership who will work autonomously to improve business processes. A track record of success in a fast paced environment. Good commercial orientation. High level of problem solving skills with attention to detail Strong decision making skills.
