Senior Commissioning Security Engineer
Brief Overview Our client based in Kent is looking for an experienced Commissioning Security Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. This position has a progression plan to supervisor / manager role. The Candidate: Experienced in a range of disciplines preferably 8 - 10 years minimum working on CCTV, Access Control, Intercoms, Intruder Alarms & have been responsible for delivering NSI standard services. Experience working within Commercial, NHS, Mental Health, Government environments. Attention to detail regarding compliance documentation. Excellent H&S skills. Must have technical understanding of security systems Gallagher systems knowledge and experience advantageous IT background essential - needs to oversee software Customer focused The Role: You will be required to carry out commissioning of security systems such as IP CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarms. You may be required to do site visits, the bulk of the work is done in office or close by. Full UK Driving Licence (Essential). Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Good fault finding / problem solving skills. IT and Networking knowledge would be extremely advantageous or showing willingness to learn. This role will suit an individual who is experienced to a good level in installation & commissioning. The candidate needs to be confident and charismatic when engaging with clients. Must be forward thinking and understand the needs of the clients. Interesting Projects Basic Salary from £35000 to £40000 depending on experience.
