Account Manager (Retail & eCommerce)
Broadstairs

I am working with a leading manufacturing company near Broadstairs who are seeking an Account Manager to join their team.

You will be responsible for account management of 2 of their key brand areas and nurturing the relationships with the clients. It is essential you have experience with a consumer product range/client base.

You will also have the opportunity to develop the eCommerce offering with this client base.

This is a great opportunity for someone driven and determined who is wanting to develop internally with a business.

Responsibilities
oGenerate sales via major accounts with bespoke and new off-the-shelf product ranges
oDevelop and maintain long term relationships
oLiaise between procurement, production , sourcing , freight , technical departments in the UK & abroad
oMaintain records and administration for both the company and customers
oDevelop forecasts and track client metrics
oManage projects from concept to completion
oAccurately communicate clients' needs to internal staff and departments
oProvide customer service cover as and when required.
oMonitor sales margins via the sales office

* Ecommerce (Development area)
o Lead the effort to develop and implement plans to profitably grow the ecommerce revenue
o Monitor, manage, and update all websites through liaison with the US team as appropriate.
o Provide literature support through advertising, brochures and targeted e-shot and mail campaigns
o Support new product launch plans online and through traditional channels.
o Design and implement press releases working internally with the US teams.
o Monitor PR activities, media, and customer metrics to formulate growth plans.

Required skills
*Graduate in business, economics, finance or similar field preferred
*Experience in an account management capacity previously
*Great client management/relationship building skills
*Prior experience working with a consumer product/client base
*Commercially astute with knowledge of basic finance/accounts functions
*Exceptional spelling and grammar
*Knowledge of ecommerce platforms such as Amazon preferred
* Trained/experience with marketing techniques would be ideal
* Experience using CMS
*Driving licence (occasional travel to clients utilising a company pool car)
