Administrator/Bookkeeper

About us:

We are seeking a part time detail-oriented and experienced administrator/bookkeeper to join our small team at a fast-growing Taxi company.

As a bookkeeper role, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy in our financial accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in managing both accounts payable and receivable.
  • Handle the processing of payments, and expense claims.
  • Conduct reconciliation of bank and credit card statements
  • Keep financial records well-organized and up to date.
  • Help in processing payroll on occasions
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
  • Work alongside team members for the accurate and timely entry of financial information.
  • Invoicing Monthly
  • Helping driver with renewal of licences
  • Arranging shift cover
  • Keeping driver records up to date.

 

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5-years bookkeeping experience.
  • Good knowledge of Xero (ideally minimum of 2 years)
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • A good working knowledge of Excel. Need to be able to create and use    spreadsheets.
  • Knowledge of formulas such as SUMIF, LOOKUP tables etc.
  • Exceptional detail orientation for accurate data management
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management capabilities
  • Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies or errors in financial records.
  • Proficient in prioritizing tasks to meet important deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
  • Capable of working both autonomously and as an integral part of a team

Part time equivalent to £25,000 full time dependent upon actual contracted hours

Bookkeeping/Administration: 2 years (Required)
HR and Health and Safety knowledge
Administration skills (Desired)
