Bookkeeper

We are an independent firm of Chartered Certified Accountants based in Faversham and are a full service practice, dealing with a wide range of personal and business clients. We are a Xero certified practice, with additional expertise in Sage, QuickBooks, FreeAgent and other applications. All in our team benefit from flexible working, manage their own workloads and have the opportunity to build close relationships with clients.

We are looking for someone to join our team to assist with bookkeeping and management reporting. Prior experience of bookkeeping is essential and knowledge of Xero is a distinct advantage. However, we do not regard experience in a professional practice as important, so we are equally keen to meet candidates from outside practice or who may have been out of the workplace for a period of time. A formal qualification is not essential but it would certainly be an advantage to be qualified or part-qualified in AAT or similar. 

The role will include bookkeeping for a regular portfolio of clients and assisting with management reporting. The position could be full or part time and will be office based initially but flexible once established. The salary will be variable depending on the agreed role and the experience of the individual.
