Job Title: Box Machine Operative
Reports To: Packaging Coordinator / Production Shift Manager

Role Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and organised Box Machine Operative to support our production team. You will be responsible for erecting flat pack boxes in line with the production plan, ensuring they are ready for all products required, and maintaining the machine in excellent working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Erect flat pack boxes efficiently to meet production schedules.

• Store erected boxes safely and in an organised manner.

• Keep the box machine clean, maintained, and ready for use at all times.

• Communicate with the packaging team to coordinate materials and maintain smooth production flow.

• Support other Packhouse roles as needed to meet production demands.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Basic understanding of Health & Safety in a warehouse environment.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Able to follow instructions and work methodically.

• Flexible, thorough, and detail-oriented.

• Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

• Well-organised and proactive in approach to work.

Performance Measures:

• Boxes are erected in time for production.

• Erected boxes are stored safely and presentably.

• Machine maintenance and downtime are minimised.

• Achievement of departmental KPIs.

• Accuracy of work, attendance, and timekeeping.
