**Please note that this vacancy requires the successful candidate to work 37 hours, 40 weeks during term time and the salary will be £18,085.65 pro rata per annum. 

Payment for 6.2 weeks pro rata, £2,803.28 will be paid equally in your twelve-monthly salary payments in addition to the pro rata salary**

EKC Group is proud to announce it is seeking to appoint a Café Manager to its Commercial Hospitality department.

We're looking for a Café manager to join the team and take responsibility for planning, organising and the overall running of our student and staff café. You will be responsible for the planning, organising and taking responsibility for students with learning disabilities & difficulties whilst on work placement within the café premises.

About You

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative individual who will provide the café with its own identity and make it a real point of difference within the group.

The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and organizational skills to uphold the business ethos and comply with regulations for food storage. Additionally, they should have at least two years of experience in a café or catering setting, which includes preparing meals and snack items.
 
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, such as those used in customer service, and should hold a Health & Safety qualification pertinent to the relevant field of work, or an equivalent, such as Basic Food Hygiene.
