EKC Group is proud to announce it is seeking to appoint a Café Manager to its Commercial Services department.
We are looking for a Café manager to join our team and take responsibility for our Radnor Park Tearoom in Folkestone. The ideal candidate will undertake a change to the Tearoom and be motivated to drive standards and customer service across the business. The business has the potential for growth and will involve working weekends and potentially some evenings.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the planning, organising and the overall running of the Tearoom, ensuring that outstanding customer service is delivered and the business targets at our Radnor park site are achieved.
Other responsibilities will include supporting the training and coaching of students with learning disabilities & difficulties whilst they are on work placement within the premises.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative individual who is driven to provide the Tearoom and it's unique identity to make it a real point of difference within the group.
The successful candidate will have good administrative and organisational skills which they can use to maintain the business' ethos and the regulations required for operating a successful food business.
The ideal candidate will possess good communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written and have achieved a Health & Safety qualification or equivalent related to the relevant area of work such as Level 2 Food Hygiene as a minimum although training can be provided.
A minimum of 2 years' experience of working in a café and or catering environment which has involved cooking meals, snacks and cakes is also desirable.
