Civil Enforcement Officer - Closing date: 28.08.2022

Salary from £21,456 to £22,251 pa plus enhanced payments for working Sundays/Public Holidays.

This post has overnight working and attracts a 10% anti-social hour’s payment premium.

Join our growing team in Parking Services – If you are fit, reliable and energetic, and enjoy the outdoor life and have the ability to deal tactfully with the public, we want to hear from you!

Primarily you will help in the important traffic management task of enforcing the councils waiting and parking restrictions by advising motorists and issuing Penalty Charge Notices.
The work is varied, interesting and not what you would expect. You will be required to undertake other Enforcement tasks, evidence gathering for council departments and assist in delivering presentations in schools to promote road safety.

It is a requirement of the job to have a full clean Category B driving licence. You must also be prepared to patrol on one of our electric bikes for which full training is provided.

The post holder must maintain at all times a satisfactory report from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
