About The Role
We are seeking four engaging and interactive people to join the EKC Group as a Digital Skills Broker on a fixed term basis until 31st August 2022.
The Digital Skills Brokers will provide a digital skills brokerage function for Adults in the community. They will deliver qualifications that challenge attitudes, digital competence, and technology barriers.
The role includes teaching, training and assessing students in various learning environments, ensuring a positive learning experience and providing support to learners to achieve their maximum potential.
This role will involve travelling to dedicated or community premises to deliver digital qualifications to customers.

We are looking for candidates with an ambition to make a difference in our local communities by providing outstanding teaching and learning and targeted support.
Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential.
You will have demonstrable experience in teaching and coaching/mentoring.
The key to your success in this role is to demonstrate the ability to build rapport, show empathy, motivate people, and influence their perception of developing digital skills. Have good written and oral communication, effective organisational skills, and the ability to work to a deadline. Ability to motivate, encourage and support students and actively contribute to the College’s Safeguarding practice, procedures, culture, and ethos.
