We are well known for the quality and variety of our fabrics and accessories which are sourced across Europe. We believe in a quality product, excellent customer service and attention to detail. We also supply an ever expanding range of wedding laces, appliqués, crystal edgings, plain fabrics and many other products chiefly to the wedding dress market.
Description of vacancy
We have a wealth of customers throughout Europe and we are looking for an enthusiastic person to support a busy team. We deal internationally and have a wide customer base. There are plenty of prospects for advancement for the right candidate. As customer services you will be dealing with both local and International customers and be required to provide support for our close-knit and friendly team.
We are looking for someone to support our team with customer enquiries. Some of the duties included will be:-
- Post In/Out/Couriers
- Managing emails
- Managing orders
- Data Inputting
- General Filing duties
Starting wage would be £4.81, although this would increase depending on skills
40 hours a week, over 5 days. Incl 30 min paid break
20% paid time during working hours is given to complete training, referred to as “Off the Job Training”
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work well on their own
- Good telephone manner, polite and professional
- Ability to work in an organised and structured way
- A European language would be advantageous, but not essential
- Good attention to detail
- Well-spoken and presentable
- Good sense of humour
- Ability to work within a close knit team
GCSE Grade 9 - 4 (or A - C) in English and Maths. Or equivalent qualifications in these subjects
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Standard - Customer Services Practitioner Level 2 Standard will establish an Apprentice’s skills to deliver high quality service to customers both internally and externally. The Apprenticeship will incorporate knowledge of customers and the customer experience, understanding the organisation, its products/services and their role and responsibilities.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
