Job Description

Thomas Aveling is a successful and oversubscribed mixed secondary school with experienced and committed staff and well behaved and motivated students.

A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a pro-active, organised and self-motivated individual to join a supportive and friendly team who make a valuable contribution to the success of the school. In addition, the highly successful Design & Technology Department is both fully resourced and enjoys excellent facilities. 

As a DT Technician you will play a key role in supporting teaching staff in the preparation for lessons and assist with practical lessons when required. Full training is available to develop knowledge, skills and techniques.

You will be responsible for ordering and preparing project materials and general resources to support the department, including the use and maintenance of tools and equipment.

The role involves working with a wide range of equipment and resources.
