EKC Group is looking to appoint an Estates Assistant to join its existing team. As an Estates Assistant you will work closely with the team to ensure the campus is always presented at its best. The typical working day encompasses: opening and locking the campus; maintenance; emergency repairs; compliance measures; and cover the shift you will be flexible to cover other shift patterns as and when required.
Our primary role here at EKC Group is to increase a persons life choices and help them to progress to higher learning or into work. Key to this function is anticipating the needs of the campus and placing the students and the trainees at the heart of everything we do.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good customer service and that they enjoy working alongside a wide range of people, from young people who have left school to adults and professionals who are upskilling or changing their career pathways. For every student to reach their potential, at whatever stage of their learning, they need to feel that they are in a safe, clean and well-maintained environment.
It would be useful if the successful candidate had expertise in maintenance, decorating, electrical or grounds maintenance but we would be happy to invest in the right candidate if they need to upskill in order to complement the teams existing expertise. A first aid qualification is essential in this role, but again, if the right candidate does not have this already, they must be willing to undertake the training as soon as they are appointed.
