Job Description

Events Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Events Officer with a passion for dealing with people and events. The Events Officer is part of the Operations Department
reporting to the Events Manager. The post-holder will work closely with the Events Manager, Vergers, and other Cathedral colleagues to ensure that events, activities, and
special services are properly planned, resourced and are effectively delivered. The role requires a professional, organised, and meticulous person to consistently exceed visitor
expectations. The role is permanent.

Hours of work
The role requires some out of hours working, including evening, weekend and bank holidays so flexibility on the hours is required. 
Standard hours of work are 35 hours per week Monday to Friday.

The salary is £24,193 per annum.

Annual Leave
The holiday entitlement is 33 days for full time employees, which includes the 8 public
holidays. This is pro-rata for part-time hours. The leave year begins on 1st September – 31st August.
