Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Truck & Van Technicians to join our team.

As an HGV Truck & Van Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) to ensure their safe and efficient operation. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HGVs
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Repair or replace faulty components, parts, or systems
- Conduct vehicle servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Use hand tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- Weld and fabricate as needed for repairs or modifications
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as required
- Conduct diagnostic tests using computerized systems
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services, and inspections performed

Qualifications:

WOULD CONSIDER PART QUALIFIED/SEMI SKILLED
- Previous experience as an HGV Truck & Van Technicians or in a similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Proficient in using hand tools and specialized equipment
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Knowledge of welding techniques for repairs or modifications
- Familiarity with computerized diagnostic systems
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
