Industry Liaison Officer - Construction

Please note this role requires the successful candidate to work 13.5 hours, 52 weeks per year with a pro rata salary of £9,918 (£27,185 FTE) per annum.

East Kent Colleges Group is seeking an Industry Liaison Officer to join EKC Canterbury College!

Are you passionate about connecting students with industry opportunities and fostering strong employer relationships? As an Industry Liaison Officer (ILO), you'll play a vital role in shaping students' futures and strengthening employer partnerships.  

What You'll Do:
- Secure and oversee work placements across a variety of vocational areas, ensuring students gain meaningful real-world experience.  
- Act as the main point of contact for employer relations in these vocational sectors, building and maintaining strong industry connections.  
- Plan and implement engaging employer events, creating valuable opportunities for students to interact with professionals.  
- Organise employer visits for students, enhancing their exposure to different career paths and industry insights.  
- Ensure timely completion of required documentation from employers, adhering to college guidelines and national expectations.  
- Support students individually and in small groups to identify and develop their employability skills, empowering them to succeed in industry placements.
