Job Title: Intake QC (Day Shift)
Reports To: Intake QC Supervisor


Role Summary

The Intake QC role is responsible for ensuring all products arriving on site meet customer requirements. You will carry out detailed inspections, report findings accurately, and communicate effectively with both internal teams and customers.


Main Responsibilities

  • Inspect all incoming products in line with the relevant intake protocols.

  • Accurately record and report all aspects of product quality to customers and the business.

  • Immediately notify customers of any issues that could significantly impact product quality, including temperature abuse.

  • Communicate effectively with customers when needed and follow through on any requests.

  • Collect fruit samples from all arrivals and complete destructive testing as soon as possible.

  • Work safely and report any hazards or near misses to your manager or supervisor.

  • Work efficiently to support the department in achieving its daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping, following the “clean as you go” policy.

  • Communicate clearly and promptly with colleagues and your Line Manager.
