Serena’s Tuition launched in 2019 and has gone from strength-to-strength since, now working with fifty students in-and-around Gravesend and Southfleet. I specialise in 11+ and KS2 Tuition, working with small groups of no more than six students, with the further advantage of having each group of six supported by a teaching assistant. The business has an excellent reputation, and has grown through word-of-mouth alone. Parents and students particularly appreciate the detailed feedback and ongoing support available between the weekly sessions. From September, I am looking to offer KS3 Maths and English sessions too, but need some amazing teachers on-board to help!
The aim of every session at Serena's Tuition is to build confidence, and by planning and delivering fun, engaging and relevant sessions, children enjoy their learning too. Activities are differentiated by task, support and the use of targeted questions.

Who I’m Looking For…

- Are you a UK qualified teacher with supporting documents relating to your teaching qualifications?
- Are you energetic, upbeat, cheerful and engaging?
- Would you enjoy working with small groups of motivated and excited children?
- Are you available to work one-or-more weekday evening 4-6.10pm, from September 2024?
- Would you like to teach, without the need to plan or mark?
- Would you be happy to complete a feedback form for each student, after each lesson using the template provided?
- Are you able to commute to Gravesend (DA12) and/or Southfleet, Kent (DA13)?
- Do you have an Enhanced DBS check? If not, would you be willing to get one?
What Do You Receive in Return?
For each hour of tuition, you will be paid £30ph. In addition, you will be a valued member of a growing and exciting local business with plenty of opportunities to increase your teaching hours to include 1-2-1 sessions, Revision Courses, holiday lessons, Zooms and mock assessments.
