Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Practitioner to join our team. Term time only .The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in early childhood education. As a Care Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being in a nurturing environment at all times

Duties

  • Provide attentive and responsive care to children in a nursery or childcare setting.
  • Develop and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
  • Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities.
  • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the environment at all times.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents as necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance the overall quality of care provided.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
  • A qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to drive and transport children safely when required.
  • A genuine passion for childcare and commitment to fostering children's growth and development.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education.
