About The Role

EKC Group is home to three amazing nurseries serving students, staff, and the local community from our Broadstairs, Canterbury, and Folkestone campuses and thanks to our continued success, we're looking for a Nursery Business Manager to join our management team.

A brand-new role, we’re seeking a special someone to provide business support to our nurseries and make the role their own. We’re interested in character and skill-sets and encourage current and aspiring nursery/school business managers to apply and those with transferrable experience from the private or public sector.

This role is part time and we're looking for... 0.6FTE (22.5 hours per week, all year round £17,041.39 per annum) OR term time only (0.7FTE, 26 hours per week/39 weeks per year, £14,728.90 plus £2001.62 holiday per per annum)… negotiable for the right candidate. Weekly working pattern is flexible and to be agreed with the successful candidate. Regular visits to each Nursery is a must in this role.

About You

This role is perfect for someone who has strong business administration and finance skills, specifically…

Strong financial management experience including budgetary planning and controls, invoicing and income tracking and invoice reconciliation;

Excellent organisation and administrative skills including report writing and confident use of ICT systems including Microsoft Office

Excellent communication skills and an ability to build relationships

Also desirable is a creative approach to income generation and marketing or willingness to learn

Drive and commitment to supporting the management team to continue the development of the nurseries
