Job Description

**Please note that this is a Fixed Working Week vacancy which requires successful candidate to work 39 weeks during term time with a pro-rata salary of £7,846.73**

Payment for 6.2 weeks pro rata, £1,247.43 will be paid equally in your twelve monthly salary payments in addition to the advertised pro rata salary.

EKC Group have an exciting opportunity at our Broadstairs Nursery for a Part Time Early Years Practitioner (Level 3) to join our successful growing business. This post will be part of an expanding team to deliver outstanding experiences to our children.

All candidates must have experience with working within a nursery environment and an understanding of the EYFS. The successful candidate will be required to take on a key person role in delivering high-quality early years education, working in partnership with parents/carers and implementing welfare requirements to the highest standards.

We are seeking to appoint a knowledgeable, confident and well organised individual to join our team.

The Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to communicate effectively at all levels and to engage with children, parents and families.

The candidate will also need to be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of child development and knowledge of relevant health and safety practice to ensure the environment is always safe.

The Ideal candidate will understand policies and procedures in relation to equality and inclusive practice and be able to implement this in their work. The candidate will also be comfortable to take on other responsibilities as deemed necessary.
