Job Description

Part time, opportunity for a candidate with construction office management skills to join our established Civil Engineering company in Lydd.

Company overview 

Davey Civils Ltd are a civil engineering company established in 2013 specialising in deep draining covering the South of England 

The successful candidate will work along side our Contracts Director who has been performing most office duties to date. They will provide training as needed so the new employee can assist with the roles described below. 

Required 

  • -  2+ years construction office experience 
  • -  Strong organisation and communication skills; detail-oriented and conscientious 
  • -  Good typing skills; proficient in MS Word and Excel; able to work swiftly and accurately 

Responsibilities 

  • Work with subcontractors & site managers to ensure paperwork is in order including invoices CITB status checks, insurance certificates etc
  • Deal with invoice quiries  on materials/vehicle contracts etc
  • Ensure employee files are updated & Health & Safety forms completed & up to date.-  
  •  - Arrange training, managing training matrix
  • - Booking accommodation
  • Good telephone manner
  • Set up new employees; collect and summarise timesheets; coordinate with payroll 
  • General office duties to include answering the phones, ordering stationary, filing etc
  • Starting  ASAP with an initial trial period. 
  • PART TIME POSTION 3 DAYS PER WEEK HOURS CAN BE FLEXIBLE
