Part time accountant

We are an independent firm of Chartered Certified Accountants based in Faversham and are a full service practice, dealing with a wide range of personal and business clients. We are a Xero certified practice, with additional expertise in Sage, QuickBooks, FreeAgent and other applications. All in our team benefit from flexible working, manage their own workloads and have the opportunity to build close relationships with clients.

We are looking for an accountant to join our team, ideally on a part-time basis, to assist with accounts preparation and client reporting. Prior experience of annual reporting is essential and some tax knowledge would be an advantage. We do not regard a full professional qualification or experience in a professional practice as crucial and are happy to meet with candidates from outside practice or who may have been out of the workplace for a period of time.

The role will, to some extent, be determined by your experience and knowledge and is therefore an ideal opportunity to join a very friendly and professional team. The position will be office based initially but can be flexible once established. The salary will be variable depending on the agreed role and the experience of the individual.
