Hours: 25 per week (5 hours per day Monday - Friday)

VP Luxury Travel is a boutique, luxury travel agency offering clients a one-to-one, personalised service, focusing solely on worldwide leisure travel. Founded in 2019 and with an extensive book of repeat clients based in the UK and the Middle East, we provide a full range of travel planning services, from single accommodation requests, to comprehensive 24/7 concierge support. We arrange hotels, villas, private residences and all transportation types, have access to preferential rates and a network of worldwide contacts within the luxury industry to add tangible value to every client trip.

Having recently opened an office in the heart of West Malling, we have an exciting new position available and are looking for a highly organised Travel Coordinator with a real interest and desire to work in the luxury travel industry. This role will be working closely together with Victoria to deliver world class service to existing clients and to support the growth of the business. 

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the full end-to-end process of client bookings and trips
  • Researching and creating travel itineraries and proposals
  • Liaising with hotels, suppliers and clients
  • Updating and managing CRM platform and registering all new clients
  • Support with social media activity
  • Learning about new industry updates and building relationships with suppliers
  • Support with invoicing, Xero and other administrative duties 

 

Experience Required

Prior experience in the travel industry or another luxury sector is preferred, but not essential. Relevant experience includes roles in tour operations, travel agencies, events or wedding planning, hotel reservations, concierge services, family offices, or other positions in luxury hotels and the travel industry.

Minimum 5 years working experience within a fast paced, professional environment. 

 

You will be:

  • Extremely organised with good decision making and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail is your super power!
  • Strong interest and passion in travel and luxury hotels and experiences
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to communicate effectively across varied audiences
  • Enthusiasm, self-motivation and a 'can do' attitude
  • Strong initiative
  • Determined and willing to take on new challenges and responsibilities
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Skilled in building relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Strong numerical skills for managing project finances
