Personal Assistant / private homecare Maidstone

A vacancy for a 1:1 personal assistant to join a home healthcare team, funded by the NHS and employed directly by the person you would support.

1 day a week available.

This role would be to assist with personal care (getting up, washed, dressed), domestic (cleaning, washing, ironing etc) and any other help required during that shift.

Applicants will demonstrate good time keeping, responsibility, organisation and commitment to learn how to support someone with complex postural needs and uses none invasive ventilation. A 3-6 month training and induction program is provided for applicants.

Female applicants only as personal care is involved.
Fluent communication in English required.
Must be able to offer cover on some other days for other staff.
You must be able to drive a manual car and be able to get to West Maidstone within 40 minutes for on call periods during your shift.

• Either Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays. Preference given in short listing to Sundays.
• Hours available: 9am to 6.30 pm extendable (see full job description).
• Pay rate increase on achieving competency after 6 months.
• Mask wearing at all times is required alongside Influenza and Covid vaccination.
