Job Description

We are a growing construction company who have recently relocated our Head Office to Kings Hill and are looking for an Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team.

Duties would include:

  • Daily record of purchase invoices and credit notes
  • Reconciliation of invoices to purchase orders
  • Reconciliation of delivery notes to invoices
  • Produce and issue remittances
  • Prepare weekly payment runs
  • Reconciliation of statements
  • Reconciliation of supplier accounts
  • Dealing with invoices queries / disputes
  • Verification and insurance checks of supply chain
  • Credit account applications
  • Liaising with commercial teams on projects
  • Assisting with month end closing processes and providing support to the Head of Finance where required

We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated person with good communication skills and a proactive approach to join our team. This role is based in our office full time. Office hours are 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 4.30pm on a Friday. Benefits include 25 days paid holiday plus bank holidays, Private Healthcare, Death in Service and Group Pension scheme. Salary is dependant on experience.
