J & R Care Ltd are currently recruiting for the following roles to work in their Residential
Children’s Home in Hextable,

REGISTERED MANAGER – Therapeutic Children’s Home
Location: Swanley, Kent

Are you a dedicated and experienced leader looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking an exceptional Registered Manager to lead our Therapeutic Children’s Home for up to six young people.

Our home provides a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children. With a strong emphasis on therapeutic care and emotional well-being, we aim to support our young people to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

The Role

As the Registered Manager, you will:

Provide strong leadership and management to the team

  • Ensure the home operates in compliance with Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
  • Deliver high-quality, child-centered care that meets the therapeutic and emotional needs of young people.
  • Oversee all aspects of the home, including safeguarding, staffing, budgets, and care planning.
  • Build positive relationships with young people, their families, and external stakeholders.•
  • Develop and maintain a trauma-informed culture within the home.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in managing a children’s home 

Qualifications:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • A therapeutic qualification or experience is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge: A strong understanding of safeguarding, Ofsted requirements, and trauma-informed care practices.
  • Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Passion: A commitment to improving outcomes for young people with complex needs.
